1. In the divine inspiration of the Scripture 2. In the divine Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit 3. In the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, and vicarious death on the cross 4. In the person of the Holy Spirit, His ministry to bring conviction from sin and to regenerate the sinner, and that He inhabits believers and seals them 5. In the fall of man from his original innocence and perfection to a state of total depravation 6. In the justification of the sinner by faith through grace in Jesus Christ 7. That the church of Christ is an independent body of baptized believers which was begun by Christ, and by which we observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper 8. In the existence of Satan and his angels, which we call demons 9. In the everlasting life for believers and punishment for those who do not accept Christ 10. That God heals according to His will, and that the gift of healing was a temporary gift given by God during a specific time, for a specific purpose, as well as the gift of "tongues" 11. That the gifts that God has given us, according to Scripture, are for the growth and edification of the Body of Christ, not for personal gain or glory |
